Did just prepare a press pot of this coffee. Wow, chocolatey notes with a lingering acidity. This I like, a lot!
My recipe for this is: 21-22g of beans 300g of boiling hot water Let it steep for 4 mins
Serve and enjoy!
I'm a coffee aficionado; meaning I love quality coffee, brewstyle differs. I also like to watch movies and series, and the occasional good beer.
Sliced of a piece of the Lavocado soap I got from Shiny Digm yesterday.
Did just wash my hands with that soap. Leaves a subtle a nice fragrance of lavender and my hands seem less dry then usual :)

My first photo :) (Taken with instagram)
Mycket gott!
Tried the Uganda #coffee tonight using the same brewstyle as last time, but I added some cold milk. Now the flavour profile changed a bit, and I could find some liquorice, a bit sweetness and a hint of saltyness. I’m going to try to brew another presspot of the last beans and add warm milk.
Aroma
Straight from the grinder:
A prominent aroma of tobacco
After first pour:
The tobacco aroma isn’t as prominent, just a slight hint. I think there’s also some kind of fruit, but I can’t define it.
Taste
“Fresh off the boil”: Creamy, robust, full-bodied. Sorta gives you hair on your chest.
If I let it sit and cool down, I can detect hints of maybe mango and citrusy flavours.
Brew style
French press, 4 min.
Summary
This is a good quality coffe, no doubt about it. But the flavour profile isn’t up my alley, I’m more of a fruits and berrys or chocolate kind of guy. I think this coffee variety will be really good in an Italian style espresso blend.
If you like your coffee a bit on the rough side, this will likely be up your alley.
Johnny enlightened me that he roast this batch quite light to let the flavours really shine through. I’m going to try this coffee roasted a bit darker, just because I am curious to see how the flavours change.

The next few posts I make about #coffee needs a clarification.
The Coffee varieties come in small sample bags from baristaonduty.com and cushcoffee.com.These bags have been sent to me without any form of payment. I will write about these coffees and give them my own personal review after my own palate. This is by no means a benchmark that anyone else should use as a guage in the event of a possible purchase from any of the aforementioned sites, but a way for me to get down my thoughts and ideas on coffee on paper.
Doft: Fruktig, en smula aprikos.
Smak: Söta exotiska frukter.
